On December 30, 2020 the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic puts into circulation a Kyrgyz Express Post postage stamp: “Stop COVID-19!”.
In 2020, all countries of the world, including Kyrgyzstan, faced a crisis of unprecedented magnitude, caused by the spread of the Coronavirus infection COVID-19. The pandemic has been a huge challenge for the world’s health services, which are facing the need to provide emergency care to millions of people.
The negative consequences of the pandemic cannot be overemphasized, but it must be recognized that it has given rise to many examples of human solidarity, selflessness and heroic performance of professional duty.
Overcoming of the global health and economic crisis requires the involvement of every person and organization in the fight against the pandemic. KEP is pleased to contribute to this fight by issuing a special postage charitable stamp, every 50 KGS from the sale of which will be transferred to the Public Charitable Foundation “Help the Children – SKD” to fight COVID-19.
For this stamp, KEP also issues a postcard, which is used to realize a maximum card.
