Vignette: – the stamp with pictorial subject reproduces a painting by Pietro Bonaccorsi known as Perin del Vaga, “Madonna with Bambino ”, created in 1534 (Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia). The stamp is completed by the legends “MADONNA CON IL BAMBINO ”,“ PERIN DEL VAGA ”and“ CHRISTMAS ”, the words“ ITALIA ”and the tariff indication “B”.
– the stamp with a graphic subject reproduces a painting by Natino Chirico entitled “Stella comet”. The legend “MERRY CHRISTMAS” completes the stamp, the wording “ITALY” and the tariff indication “B ZONE 1”.
Sketchers: by the Philatelic Center of the Operational Direction of the Polygraphic Institute and State Mint S.p.A., for the postage stamp with pictorial subject; Natino Chirico, for the postage stamp with graphic subject.
Printing: Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A., in rotogravure.
Colors: six for the stamp with pictorial subject; five for the postage stamp with graphic subject.

Commenting on the issue, an illustrative bulletin with articles signed by Cristina is produced Colaiacovo, President of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia, for the postage stamp with a pictorial subject and Fabio Gregori, Head of Philately, Corporate Affairs, for the stamp with a graphic subject. The Philatelic Desk of the Post Office in Perugia Center and the “Spazio Filatelia” in Rome, located in Piazza San Silvestro 20, will use, on the day of issue, the relative special cancellations made by Filatelia di Poste Italian.
