OCTOBER 20, 2020 THE COVER OF THE FIRST DAY AND THEMATIC STAMP – BOMBA TRAIN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF BOMBA AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 – Brunei Darussalam’s State Postal Service Department issued the Cover of the Official Letter of the First Day and Thematic Stamp – Car Bomba in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Department of Bomba and Rescue.

The withdrawal of Bomba Thematic Stamp is at the initiative of the Post Service Department, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunication along with the Department of Bomba and Rescue, Ministry of Home Affairs in an effort to attract more interest among fans and thematic stamp collectors from home and abroad. The Thematic Stamp of Bomba Train in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Bomba Department and Saviour in also issued the Official Letter Cover of the First Day which sold for 45 cents.

Next, this complete set of First Day Official Letter Covers sells for $1.05 with the following stamps included:

20 cents for a piece of 1980s Water Tender Ladder;
10 cents for a piece of the 1988 Rescue Tender Setem;
20 cents for a piece of The Turntable Staircase in 2002;
10 cents for a piece of 2015 Water Tender Ladder;

The cover of the Official Letter of the First Day and Thematic Stamp is sold to the public starting on Tuesday 20 October 2020 from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm on an ongoing, in the branches of post offices throughout Brunei Darussalam.
