A bit of natural history…
Carrion crow’s egg, ostrich egg, wild bunting egg, song thrush egg, turkey egg, emu egg, kestrel egg, gray flycatcher egg, rustic swallow egg, house sparrow egg, red laying hen’s egg and crested lapwing egg. All these eggs are of size, color, graphics so different from each other that it is a pleasure to discover them. To accentuate our astonishment, the stamps make you discover which bird is the egg which illustrates it. A couple of ostriches and their young, on the cover, immediately question you and invite you to guess.
