St. Jakob Church of Stepanakert

Quantity: 600 sheetlets of 10 stamps each (5×2) = 6,000 stamps ARH#88.1

The St. Jacob’s Church was built in Stepanakert in 2006-2007. The foundation stones were laid on 15 September 2006, and the consecration was held on 9 May 2007 in honour of the 15th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi.

Holy Mother of God Cathedral of Stepanakert

Quantity: 600 sheetlets of 10 stamps each (5×2) = 6,000 stamps ARH#88.2

The Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God was built according to plans by the architect Gagik Yeranosian in Stepanakert. The foundation stones were laid on 19 July 2006. The construction period dragged on due to lack of funds. The consecration as a cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church finally was celebrated on 7 April 2019.
