Press Release announcing the 2020 Stamp Programme (14 October 2019)

The following is from Hong Kong Stamps’ webpage 2020 Stamps Issuing Programme and Introduction:

Products authorised by Bruce Lee Enterprises, LLC and Fortune Star Media Limited

Legendary martial arts master Bruce Lee was an eminent figure of the movie industry and martial arts culture of his time. His great achievements transcend territories, times and disciplines. Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco and grew up in Hong Kong. After starring in local movies during his childhood, he continued his education in the United States where he founded a martial arts school and infused philosophy into martial arts. He was also an actor and made a name in the worlds of movies and martial arts around the globe. It has been some 40 years since Bruce Lee passed away, yet his martial arts image is still inspiring. Finding references from four Bruce Lee movies – The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon and Game of Death – as well as his philosophy and signature Jeet Kune Do, Hongkong Post designs a set of six stamps and a stamp sheetlet to salute this timeless icon.
