The 2020 Stamp Programme for Finland was announced by Posti on 17 October 2019.

From the Posti press release published on 17 October 2019:

The theme of the 2020 Europa stamps is ancient postal routes. As the subject of the stamp, Posti chose Santa Claus, who takes his own routes up in the aurora-lit sky, travelling to every corner of the world in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. The EUROPA: Ancient Postal Routes stamp sheet, designed by Klaus Welp, contains 10 international no-value indicator stamps.

Qinghai Hoh Xil is the subject for World Heritage in China Series No. 9. Located in the north – east of the Qinghai – Tibetan Plateau, this site was inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List as natural heritage in 2017. Its distinctive geographical and climatic settings have nurtured a unique ecology and rich biodiversity. The stamp sheetlet showcases the natural grandeur of Hoh Xil and wild species of Class I state protection recorded there, such as Tibetan antelope, wild yak, Tibetan wild ass and golden eagle. For the first time ever, the sheetlet is affixed with a “widescreen” stamp to underscore the theme.
